About
A family practice with our family's name on the door.
Dene Dental Family Dentistry is a locally owned family dental clinic in the heart of the Qu'Appelle Valley. For three decades, families across Fort Qu'Appelle and the surrounding communities have trusted us with their care.
Our promise has not changed: professional, compassionate, and safe dentistry from people who treat you like a neighbour - because here, you are one.
The Martin family
Three decades in the valley.
The practice started with Dr. Ron Martin. A member of the Fond-du-Lac Denesuline First Nation, Ron grew up in Uranium City, a mining town in Saskatchewan's far north, where his parents taught him early that education was the way to a better life.
He took that lesson a long way. In 1990 he became the first First Nations student to graduate from the University of Saskatchewan, and in 1995 he brought his practice to Fort Qu'Appelle and opened the doors of Dene Dental.
The name is no accident. Dene is the nation Ron belongs to, and the clinic carries that pride openly, rooted in the community it serves.
Today Dene Dental remains a true family practice, with Dr. Jared Martin working chair to chair alongside Dr. Ron Martin. From checkups and cleanings to crowns, root canals, dentures, and same-day emergencies, the team looks after every age under one roof. Whether it's your child's first visit or your own long overdue one, you'll be met with patience, honesty, and care.
